About the Sugar!
The Honey & Coconut Sugar
Just like the other ingredients, raw honey was chosen not just as an unprocessed, natural sweetener, but also a natural preservative. It is high in B and C vitamins which are great for healthy energy which may help one feel more alert without feeling jittery.
Coconut sugar is not considered a refined sugar and is only 15 calories per serving. It is also high in zinc, calcium, iron and polythenols.
*Please note that I use sweeteners very sparingly and the amount per treat is less than 1/10 of a serving size.
